Maitake

Maitake mushroom, also known as “dancing mushroom” in Japanese, is a type of adaptogen mushroom that grows wild in parts of Japan, China, and North America. It has a distinctive shape that has earned it the nickname “hen-of-the-woods” or “sheep head”. Maitake mushroom is considered a medicinal mushroom and is used in many culinary dishes.
