Extra class is the highest grade available with accounts of a total of 5 % of total production. It is round and regular shaped, which makes it easier to shave on the plate. It is a perfect truffle for a wow effect table presentation. Sizes range between 20 and 100 gram per truffle. Size can be adjusted according to clients needs. It is characterized by its black exterior and a dark black interior with white veins. The truffle has a strong, earthy aroma and a rich, nutty flavor. It is considered one of the most expensive truffles in the world and is used in many high-end restaurants.
